1 1/2 years back i started the mammoth task to complete 500 films in a year……………………….

looking back i was way way way (add few more way) over my head, still i haven’t given up and finally reached a mile stone of 100 films yeah fifth of the way there………

well since i reached this much thought i should look back at the journey and make a list (a guilty pleasure) of the films starting with

the five bad-bad films that had crying by the end….

• The Curse of La Llorona (2019) by god i feel sad i reached the milestone on this.
• Student of the Year 2 (2019) this was like the sure hit on this list before i watched it.
• Thugs of Hindostan (2018) seriously you thought Indian Pirates of the Caribbean would work
• Mikhael (2019) hand down the movie that i hated to my core while watching (someday i might just rant on this more)
• Race 3 (2018) lets not go there…
• Judwaa 2 (2017) i know i said 5 but this was just sooooo bad

the cinq films that truly surprised me, some just slip right under ur radar

• Detective Pikachu (2019) suprised a video game film was adapted so well
• Upgrade (2018) the biggest under radar hit for me
• Solo (2017) another anthology that was hit and miss but those hits sure were hard
• Sudani from Nigeria (2018) simple non star cast film that just works
• Mukkabaaz (2017) just a sports film worth watching

and finally the pancha films that i loved enough to remember even now.

• Anand (1971) babumoshai
• Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) this will one-day be called a classic (i hope so)
• The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (2018) man i loved this anthology
• Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (1986) boy did i feel like bunking school after this
• Andhadhun (2018) this is a treat and a gem

well that’s it, nothing special many better films may have been omitted but well my list so muhahahahahaha
